At the start of the project, I was the person who had the most knowledge from playing the game so the artists would often ask questions about the game that I would answer.
In additon to porting to modern VR consoles, ForwardXP was tasked with improving gameplay.
I investigated and wrote documentation on two similar VR titles with sword combat to learn where and how the original Arashi: Castles of Sin could improve in its combat and character inventory.
The original 2021 game was a PSVR exclusive so the controls were outdated. The first drafts of the preposed new control schemes were designed by me and I participated in early dicussions about them.
Also, I did early investigations to see if we could get the build to run on the Vive.
I was only on the project briefly in the beginning of development before being swapped to a different project.
